Vascular and Thoracic Associates is now offering a Vascular Screening Program.
The purpose of our Vascular screening Program is to make people aware of an dundected health problem and encourage them to seek follow-up care with their physician.
What is evaluated during the Vascular Screening?
 | 1. A carotid artery screening to evaluate for stroke indicators |
| 2. An ultrasound exam of the abdomen to check for Aortic Aneurysms |
| 3. An exam that checks for the peripheral vascular disease and hardening of the arteries. |

In most cases, with early detection, vascular disease can be treated effectively.

These non-invasive, painless tests are performed by skilled accredited vascular technologists. The results will be reviewed by a Vascular Physician. Health screening participants receive their results within two weeks. Vascular screenings are by appointment only and the cost is not covered by insurance. Visitors can pay by cash or check at the time of the screening.
